Lucy Meets Some Puppy Friends!

In liew of attending puppy socialization class, Lucy and I decided to go to the park for croquet and a BBQ. There were two other puppy friends there and Lucy had a great time. Although, I'm a little worried she is somewhat of a wuss. We'll have to toughen her up a bit, I mean, she has to live up to the skull and crossbones poop bags. Also, we think Lucy may be a little bit of a lush. She likes to sneak beer.

Lucy loved Sully. She didn't like Audrey as much. Audrey is just a little too much dog for Lucy right now. I give it a couple more weeks of growing and a few more meetings with Audrey and they will be bff's, for sure!

A Day at the Beach

Lucy's day at the beach consisted of a lot of sniffing, playing with seaweed, letting the wind blow in her hair, and barking at the camera!

There once was a girl...

But when she was bad, she was horrid.

Weekend with the Grandparents!

I'm sure my parents LOVE being called grandparents now! But they are, to little Lucy Loo. They got to puppysit this past weekend because I was away in Seattle for a friends 25th bday. While she was away at their house, she got to be so naughty! She isn't as bad with me but she is definitely biting more. She is enrolled in puppy kindergarten and starts June 16th.

It turns out that Lucy's sister, whose new owners named Ruby, lives down the street from me. It's a very weird coincidence that two puppies from Long Beach got adopted from two separate owners that live down the street from each other! They will have puppy play dates very soon. I have already heard that Ruby is hanging out at the park with other dogs in our neighborhood.
